At our dental practice, we have over 30 years of experience and we offer a wide range of treatments from general dentistry to missing teeth treatments, cosmetic dentistry and preventive dentistry, all with our dentist in Widnes. We have recently refurbished our practice to make you feel comfortable the moment you walk through our doors and enter our welcoming reception. We want you to find it as easy as possible to make an appointment that fits in with your schedule, which is why we have three weekday late night openings until 9pm. We also offer same day appointments for any dental emergencies, although we hope they won’t happen as we work to prevent major issues occurring, wherever possible, in the treatments we provide. What’s more, we have something a little different at our practice; we also offer cosmetic skin treatments. It may sound a little incongruous, but dentists are experts in facial anatomy and having treatments for the skin is a natural progression for us. In all of our treatments we are highly trained and we continue to keep updated on the latest techniques and technology.

Invisible braces
For patients who wish to realign their teeth but have been put off by the thought of visible fixed metal braces, we have a solution with clear removable appliances. We use clear plastic aligners which are custom-made to fit your teeth; they gently apply pressure to your teeth to move them gradually into the desired position. They are ideal for mild to moderate alignment issues and you could see results in as little as 6 months. The great thing about removable appliances is that you can take them out when you eat and drink, as well as when you brush and floss. As the aligners are made of clear plastic, people shouldn’t realise you are wearing them. You will only need to wear them for an average of 22 hours a day, which leaves you with flexibility to take them out for special occasions for example. If you are interested in this treatment, we will have an initial consultation during which we will take X-rays of your mouth and possibly other scans in order to determine if this is the best treatment for you.
Teeth whitening
Teeth can become stained for a number of reasons such as drinking tea, coffee or alcohol, medications or stress. We offer a home whitening kit where you will receive custom made trays in which you will put a whitening gel. There are options to wear them in the daytime or at night and the bleaching agent you are given will depend on the route that’s best for you. Teeth whitening should always be done under the direction of a dentist and we know that we can help you achieve results that will make you want to keep on smiling!
If you would like to find out about these treatments or any of the others that we have on offer, don’t hesitate to book in for a consultation. Your dentist in Widnes will happily listen to your concerns about your smile and help you get a step on your dental journey ladder here at Widnes Dental Practice.
